New Kids Update

Following the great news of the 4 kids being taken into the Revive a Life family we can also update you on Mariam.  Mariam was quite sick when she came into our care.  After a few days in the Revive a Life medical centre she responded really well to treatment and has now joined Jesca, Joyce & Juliet in the house.

Here are some more pictures of the 4 of them.  So great to be able to give kids like these a hope and future!

The Family Grows!

We are pleased to announce that Revive A Life has taken in 4 new children into the RaL Home.  This is amazing news as we have been able to take these 4 kids from the slums and off the streets of Uganda & offer them a chance at life.  We would like to say a big thank you for your loyal support to give a new start to these children.

We have some pictures below. (1 of kids is currently in the RaL medical centre and we are currently waiting for a picture, we should have it soon!)

17th November – Thank You!

We’d like to thank you all for your generosity in supporting Katie – in total we’ve raised £1.599.20 that’s all going towards the medical centre! We’ll leave you today with a personal note from Katie herself:

I believed God wanted me to walk for him and raise the money for Revive a Life. I stepped out in faith to ask my friends if they would support me, and help the team raise funds for the much needed medical equipment. Hugh, I and the dog walked for eight days (covering 20 miles a day), sleeping in the car at night except for one night in a great bed and breakfast.

We felt greatly inspired by God’s word and the people who helped us, especially when we locked the key in the car.

Please support Revive a Life , even if it is a small amount of cash, it all adds up.

Thank you so much for your support,

Hugh and Katie Bramwell

2nd November – ‘On the way to Welshpool’

Katie Bramwell is well underway with her walk from Colwyn Bay to Cardiff.

She is now heading towards Welshpool having completed 2 check points already!  Katie messaged us this morning, ‘Thanks for all the messages of the support.  All is going to plan and we are on the way to Welshpool’

If you would like to send her a message of support please tweet with @revivealife and we’ll pass it on.  The best way of supporting her is by sending her some money!

The money raised is going to be used to transform the Revive a Life: Medical Centre’s operating theatre which will bring life saving treatment to the people in Kewempe, Uganda.

Please support Katie by sponsoring as much as you can.  You can donate here on our Just Giving: http://www.justgiving.com/
